A comment and a question.

Comment: If your entire season is ruined by the loss of Milton Bradley, you weren't in very good shape to begin with.

Question: How quickly did Winick get in touch with you about dumping?!

Anyone ready to deal with a guy on the verge of dumping?????

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- The Cleveland Indians will trade Milton Bradley within 72 hours of Wednesday's confrontation with manager Eric Wedge, ESPN's Peter Gammons reported today.

Bradley abruptly left Cleveland's training camp Thursday, one day after he was pulled from an exhibition game for not running out a pop fly against Houston. Bradley was told quietly by Wedge that he needed to be on second base. Bradley responded, and while it was not a shouting match, he showed disrespect for his manager in front of his teammates.

General manager Mark Shapiro told Bradley that the Indians organization could not allow such behavior or such a lack of respect, according to Gammons. To his credit, Bradley moved to Cleveland this offseason and did what the club says was more community service than any other player.

Wedge had no comment when asked about Bradley's status.

Bradley's agent, Seth Levinson, said the player left with the "understanding and agreement of the front office" so the sides could weigh their options.

The Indians were counting on Bradley this year to bat cleanup and be a productive everyday player. He was having a solid 2003 season before hurting his back and missing the final six weeks.

I think the two Japan games are grouped in with next week's games to create "week 1." I'm in another online league that is set up this way so it's probably a default setting for a number of leagues. This probably done is more as an accomodation for the head-to-head fantasy leagues, in which two teams face off for a week and then get either a W or an L. They seem to have become more popular than the traditional roto style recently; probably because head to head is the way football fantasy leagues work.

When I go to the TQ Stats lineup change page, it indicates that changes will be effective as of April 11. Is that right? Should changes we make before Sunday April 4 be effective on April 4?
