Nope -- Here is the rule we applied last year and that has previously been
circulated, without objection, for use this year.
Freeze Rosters and Slotting: Players who currently have USML rookie status
will be treated as rookie-eligibles for freeze list and slotting purposes,
regardless of expected Major League status. This means they may be retained
as "plus three" players on Roster Freeze Day and will be "slotted down" to
the reserve rosters for the auction draft. All non-rookies retained on
freeze lists will be "slotted up" for the auction draft, regardless of
expected Major League status.

Subject: [USML Announce] Rookies
With rookies purchased in last year's auction (i.e., guy's like the GOP's
Delmon Young, McPherson, etc.), am I correct that the owner can "slot" the
players on the reserve roster even though we count the salary and contract
year?
