Gang:

Draft day is almost here.....now just 32 hours away (fewer by the time
most of you read this e-mail). Here is the information for the draft.

Place: the draft will be held at Sidley, which is in the old First National
Bank Building, now known as Bank One Plaza.

Time: We will start at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Do NOT be late.

Entry to building: Enter the building on the Dearborn Street side, near the
corner of Dearborn and Madison. When you arrive at the building, you will
need to go to the guard station, give them your name, my name, and show them a
photo ID. They should issue you a badge and then permit you to go to the
elevator, which you should take to the 55th floor. We will be in conference
Room 6 North. Call my cell phone if there is a problem: 847-571-4114.

Security list: Everyone's name should be on the security list. If you plan
to bring someone not usually at the draft (e.g., a new co-owner), please let
me know on Friday, because I need to put their names on the list. Cups:
right now I only have Gallo Jr on the list.

Rules: You can bring food, but no alcohol (or steroids). This rule is
inflexible.

What to Bring: Please bring ample lists to permit the smooth operation of
both the auction and the rotation draft.  Motions to Think are  allowed;
motions to create lists are not. Also, please bring a check for $110 made payable
to Jeff Winick for fees.

What to Leave Behind: Before you leave, please give me a sheet of paper
that shows your roster on the front page and the 17 reserves on the back side of
the same page. For the active roster, please indicate positions and
salaries. For reserves, please indicate salaries. You might want to start your
list before you arrive.

Fun: As Andy once explained to his wife, the USML Draft day is the most
eagerly awaited event of the year. Whether you agree with this or not, it
should definitely be fun, so come prepared to bid, roast your fellow owners, and
generally have a good time.

  See you on Saturday.
