Dummy Players is how I've handled this issue in the other league's where I act as commissioner.  Call me if you want to discuss what I do.  But that might save you some aggravation in dealing with TQStats.

If TQ Stats delays, is there any reason you can’t add “dummy players” for the time being (i.e., someone on the free agent list who is unlikely to attract any interest)?  Then you can drop/add when they finally get the prospects in our database.
