In a exceptionally rare occurrence, it appears that the league has reached a
unanimous conclusion:
 
The draft was terrific.  Thanks to Rich for hosting one of our best drafts
ever.  I say that despite the team that I left the room with.  I still had a
great time.
 
A more complete review will follow, but a gestalt review suggests that this
might be the year that the K-9 finally shed the asterisk.
 
My condolences to Doug on the loss of Dellucci to the Phillies.  Sure there
were rumors that Texas was looking to move the guy, but noone saw this
coming so quickly.....except maybe Kerber who picked up Laynce Nix, his
likely replacement in center field.

BTW - I gave Brad no advice whatsoever during the draft and certainly didn't
tell him that Ethier was involved in the Juan Dominguez deal.  If I had been
giving him advice he wouldn't have Kendrick or Zumaya (both of whom I wanted
and both of whom I would have steered him away from).
