The following two reports from Rotoworld ought to quell the rumblings from
Messrs Kerber and Shabelman about their prospects:
 

Manager Buck Showalter said Monday that he will bench Laynce Nix against
left-handed pitchers.
When a lefty is going against the Rangers, Adrian Brown will start in center
field. Nix is a career .196 hitter in 112 at-bats against southpaws. Apr. 4

Indians recalled RHP Jason Davis from Triple-A Buffalo.
Prospect Fausto Carmona will remain at Triple-A ,and Davis would work out of
the bullpen until Cleveland needs a fifth starter. Davis gave up six earned
runs in 16 1/3 innings this spring. Apr. 4 - 1:30 pm et
