My vote is you keep MacPherson and throw back the other asterisk player.
I'd say that DUMP members would say Mac is still a fine talent for the
stretch drive and that he most likely was the star of this deal.

It appears to me that, in the rush to get things completed prior to the
deadline, Buddha and I overlooked a problem with our trade.  We could
not include MacPherson becuase he adds a second asterisk player coming
my way, with none going back to Buddha.
 
I propose that we either:  (1) waive MacPherson, (2) return him to
Buddha, or (3) have Buddha replace him with the non-asterisk player of
his choice.  (MacPherson was a pure throw-in, which is why I hadn't
thought about the problem.)  Does anyone object to any of the above or
have any other views?
