I believe I had concluded that your bid for Tyner exceeded your budget, so I ignored it.  However, when you raised the issue last week, I meant to check it out, but never did.  It has nothing to do with the free meal I enjoyed, which the waiter explained was paid for by "your sports agent friend in Glenview."
