Item: Any hope of the Angries trading Eddie Guardardo to the Hoosier Dads as
part of their closer collection died a painful death today as Everday got
traded to the Cincy Reds.

Jeff Winick landed the first comment: "Not only does this cement Putz as (i)
steal of the draft and (ii) Mariners' closer, it affects the Angries in two
ways: yes, they get some FAAB cash, but it also shackles Shabes' ability to
move his alleged 'keepers.'  Aside from the Rips losing Jeff Weaver in a
trade to the NL this is the most devestating interleague trade to date.  I
look forward to commenting on more of these deals in the weeks ahead...."
