For all of you with the MLB package or access to Twins baseball, note that  
Round 2 of the King Felix vs. Francisco Liriano battle will take place this  
evening.
 
Round 1 went decisively to the kid in the pinstripes.  He threw 6  innings of 
one hit ball and looked overpowering in getting the win.  The  purported King 
had a decent, though hardly awe inspiring outing and took the  loss.  
 
Putting aside issues of why anyone would forfeit a potential league  
championship to hang onto a guy with a 5.78 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in the second  year of 
his contract, this has the potential of being a GREAT pitching  matchup.  Watch 
how effortlessly these two guys throw their 95+ mph  fastballs.  Watch the 
hitters flail away at Liriano's nearly 90 mph  slider.  Watch both of them throw 
change ups that are 15+ mph slower  than the fastball.
