I think this is a crazy ruling.   By this thinking Dellucci only  would 
qualify now at UT because he has pinch hit more than play the  field..   Doubt I'd 
keep Ortiz at near $40 but I think a player should  qualify at whatever 
defensive position he plays most if in fact he doesn't hit  20 games at any one 
defensive slot.
 
How about this as well.....I watched the other night as Toronto put on a  
shift and in doing so moved Hinske in short right field (from his 3B  
slot)....does that make nim a 2nd baseman??
 
 
In my mind the rule should be examined before next season....my  
request...anyone else care??
