[USML Announce] Fwd: Don't Bury Burgos

Unfortunately, Brad neglected to identify the truly dominant pitcher of the
day (no, Verlander went YESTERDAY, Rick)-- Kenny Rogers (5 2/3 innings, no
runs). Hey Kerbs, that's 7 wins for the Gambler already. I might just
reserve him now considering that he'll pitch poorly the rest of the way and
just bank on another seven wins at the beginning of next year.....all at the
low, low price of $1.

And I hope that while Mark K. was busying himself researching Burgos' minor
league stats, he noticed who pitched the final innings for the Royals today,
in a typical dominant fashion: that's right, Ambrioux Burgos.

John:
Obviously Jeff Cohen is the visionary of your partnership. I implore
you, all of you, to read about Burgos in Baseball Prospectus, and not
because (contrary to Winick's typically baseless claims) I am peddling him.
I stand by my $11 auction price, as I also stand proudly beside Justin
Huber, Howie Kendricks, Alex Gordon, Jeff Clement and let us not forget,
Fernando Cabrera. Thank you.
Brad

Thank God I rebuffed the repeated pleas by Cohen to land this flamethrower.
I
astutely went after Rodrigo Lopez instead...
