When you can tell the difference between a Lubanski and a Wood, Gordon or  
Hughes, your application to DUMP will be reconsidered.  Until then, keep  
studying.
 
As for Ramon Hernandez, it appears to me that the rule is pretty  clear:
 
Here's the relevant text of  17.2 
After Roster Freeze Day a team may  elect to waive one player who was 
previously protected on Roster Freeze Day. Any  such waiver must be recorded with the 
League Secretary not later than 11:59 p.m.  (Chicago time) on the second day 
following opening day of the major league  season or such other time and date 
as the League, by general agreement, shall  determine.
 
Rick missed the deadline by about 12 hours.  I  think that means Hernandez is 
still a Daddy.
