One thing I'd certainly do, if I had more FAAB than Gammons, is bid at least
a buck more than his balance on Wheeler (but not so much that rostering
Wheeler would be impossible for Gammons), and then make him an offer
tomorrow morning if successful.

And one thing I'd strongly consider if I were a contender with more FAAB
than Gammons is to put in a spoiler bid on Wheeler.

As noted, just trying to be helpful.

Mr. Gammons needs saves, has 40-something of FAAB to spend and can roster
pretty much that amount.  Dan Wheeler is sitting behind the old and fragile
Al Reyes in the TB bullpen.  Will Gammons go full budget on Wheeler?  He
almost has to.
