Glad to see you've reclaimed control of you e-mail account. ?Who was that clown who sent the e-mail claiming to be a deadline buyer? Anyway, you're looking great for 2010 and beyond, but I think 2009 will belong to those who have more than two or three players that will be in the majors then. ?I think you're looking at a year of being Bradlee's minor league franchise.

P.S. ?I see you went from the Hot List instead of the mid-season Top 25--and it's pretty clear why. ?Had you gone from the Top 25, you wouldn't have had much of an opportunity to poke at Blocker, who has three players way up near the top, and you wouldn't have needed to move far down the list to find a couple of Nukes. ?(For those of you who don't follow this stuff, the Hot List is basically a flavor of the week list, not intended to be a real ranking of prospects.)

Now that its down to Rich and Doug, what's left for the rest of us to do?? Focus on the future.? Newest DUMP member (though still in the closet), Mark B. so proudly shared the Baseball America Hot List a few weeks ago when his players were prominently featured.? Unfortunately, as many of his players have disappeared off of that list, so have his updates.



Here's where things currently stand:



#1 - Brandon Wood - 
Berliners (2nd week in a row) - Brandon's now 25 for his last 56 with 10 home runs, 17 rbis and even a stolen base.

#2 - Matt Wieters - Bombers?- Well, well....? Maybe Mr. B should be paying more attention.

#3 - Mark Trumbo - Free Agent?

#5 - Travis Snider - Berliners 

#6 - Shooter Hunt - Free Agent

#7 - Mike Moustakos - Riptorns

#8 - Jharmidy DeJesus - Free Agent

#9 - Elvis Andrus - Berliners



Couple of interesting things to note.? (1) 8 out of the 10 hottest prospects are playing in the AL.? (2) Only 5 of the 8 are presently owned.? (3)? 3 of the 9 hottest players in the minor leagues are Berliners.



Since the Berliners are now looking at 2009 for their next title, please be advised that all three studs will be available the day after the season ends.
