This was discussed at the draft.? I don't recall whether there was any email traffic regarding the issue, but there might have been.

But I really couldn't care less about the particular issue.? Does it really matter to you whether you have Karstens or some other bum active on your roster?? Seems to me you're almost certain to finish 10th.? And you're definitely not keeping Karstans next year, right?

I'm more concerned about your treatment of the?issue as black/white, up/down, true/false.? Our constitution has never been applied in that fashion and wasn't as recently as the decision regarding Jim's over-budget bids.? As I recall, you voted to treat his bids in a manner that was inconsistent with a strict reading of our constitution.? Or are you tre ating this?particular issue in the same manner as?Justice Scalia and?his cohorts?treated the issues in Bush v. Gore and adopting an ends justify the means approach??

EVERY issue ought to be subject to a league vote, including this one.? 

BTW - Rich, apology accepted.? But?the mental image has?put me completly off my feed.? Can't imagine I'll be eating again anytime soon.? There's just that vision of a pale white guy running back and forth on the tennis court in spandex.? Whew......too much to handle.
