[USML Announce] Request For Technical Advice

Hi, guys.  A question wholly unrelated to baseball, on an issue some of you
assisted me awhile back:  My old Panasonic DVD recorder is starting to get a
bit fussy. I see they don't make too many DVD recorders these days, I guess
because of Tivo and DVRs.  A bummer...I don't really watch that much TV, but
my question is which is  the better deal: Tivo or DVR, the latter provided
by Comcast for $13.99/month.

Opinions and advice, please.  Thanks!
