Actually, I am not waiving Kotchman as of yet- sorry for the
inconvenience.

Angry in Glenview

In the "mean streets of Glenview," wearing those colors most likely
means you root for GBN.

Just don't wear those in the mean streets of Glenview. You never
know who is "packing" there.

You wear Green and Gold and no one would dare.

Please waive Casey Kotchman ($9) and Stephen Marek,
minor leaguer. Have fun and make sure you wear bright colors- doesn't
everyone up there hunt?

		League:

As fun as it is to debate the Favre thing with Doug
(who is wrong on all fronts, just as an aside), there is some serious
USML business to deal with. I want to clarify three items for this
weekend's FAAB bidding.

		1. FAAB budgets: If you have players that you want to
waive and have their salary added to your FAAB budget, you must let me
know asap, and certainly by Friday morning. Jeff/Andy/Jim, I think I
have corrected all of your budgets, but let me know if I am mistaken.

		2. Bidding: I do not know for certain if the system
will allow you to make bids that exceed your FAAB budget, even if done
contingently. I think Andy may have played with this earlier in the
year, and so I am happy to get additional guidance.

		3. Trades: My understanding is that players acquired
via FAAB this week cannot be traded this week. We decide who gets the
player on Saturday so that people can adjust accordingly, but I do not
believe we permit those players to be traded before they are first
rostered on Sunday. Before I get poison pen e-mails, though, I want to
make clear this is simply MY understanding, and if others have a
different understanding, please let me know.

Finally, I wanted to let the league know that I will
be out of town on vacation from 8/2 to 8/9 (in Northern Wisconsin --
Packer country), but should have access to the web.
