My information came from our old All Star Stats website, not some fancy pay
service.  I went back and checked, and the info came from 2006.  Silly me, I
forgot that former prospect (and former rookie) Hansen spent all of 2007 in
the minors learning to pitch.  That said, I have no reason to think the
transaction history from 2006 is wrong, especially since he pitched 38
innings out of the bullpen that year, which equates to about half a season
of work for most relievers.  If I understand correctly, rookie status, like
virginity, cannot be regained once lost.

Craig Hansen is The Man.  And don't you forget it.

Anyway, I don't have the fancy pay services that gives group discounts to
DUMP.  But Rotoworld shows that Hansen was optioned to Pawtucket on March 27
and never indicates that he was recalled.  Rotoworld does note that Hansen
pitched two scoreless innings for Pawtucket on July 27, which would be hard
for him to have done if Kerber's information was accurate.

history.  He was called up last year on 6/20 and sent back down on 8/21--so
that's more than sixty days of service time right there.   So, even if he
were a prospect, which he's not, he wouldn't be rookie-eligible.

I come up with nearly the same numbers.

I show the LMC needing 15 players with $201 left and four no contract

reserve roster players.

Can you take another look at your calculation and see if you still come up

with 14/200?

If Jeff eats the Chris Ray contract, his money available will drop to $198.
