Again, I object vehemently to Winick using the word "King" in any communications. Brad Lee, can't you get a cease and desist or do some of that legal stuff to stop this?

	Rick,

	You must always consider the source before leaping to the conclusion that what has been said has any value. You've just heard from two fathers: one is a fellow who has now spent more than half of his life in the City of Chicago and remains an ardent, cheese-head wearing, Packers fan. 'Nuff said. The fact that his sons worship the Pack is testament to what must be nothing short of Vietnam era brainwashing technique at work in that household.

	The other is an otherwise brilliant guy who appears to have let 3 years in Hyde Park blind him into thinking that a jewish, senior executive of a major American company with offices in downtown Chicago and who lives in the North Shore is "down" with the south siders. Give me a break. Being the nice guy that he is, however, he hasn't fought to prevent his children from letting their hearts lead the way.

	The Once and Future King

	Greetings;
	     Wow, if that's the measuring stick then no amount of parenting classes will save my parenting card! My oldest, who just became a teenager, and her younger sister not only are not Sox, Cub, Hawk, or even Pacer fans, but couldn't care any less about sports. Hell, they don't even care about synchronized swimming.
	     Signed,
	A Failed B.G. Parent

		  While I am not Brad, I think the best thing to do is to let this play out and let the scoreboard do the talking. Because look at it this way, even if the White Sox lose today, they were in the playoffs one day longer than the Cubs.

		  You may also want to consider some parenting classes. Note that my teenage son is an over-the-top Packer Fan, which amply demonstrates good upbringing.

		Signed,

		Proud Northbrook Father.

			Dear Brad,
			I am a White Sox fan. My teenage son is a Cubs fan. I've tried to be open-minded and allow him to express himself -- I assumed that this is just one of those teenage things that I'm going to need to continue to deal with. I don't want to be one of those parents who imposes his beliefs on his kids only to see them anrgily rebel and tear at the fabric of our family. Today, my child told me that all he cares about at the moment is hoping that Tampa Bay beats the White Sox. Perhaps I have been in denial too long. What should I do? Where should I draw the line?
			Signed,
			An Anguished Glencoe Father
