Andy:
Thanks so much for conducting your due diligence and sharing your research
results with the rest of us who like to follow the fortunes of Blocker's
Bombers. I was in Barnes & Noble last night (to pick up the latest Stones'
remastered re-reissues--when will I learn...) and stumbled upon Baseball
America's 2009 Prospect Handbook (no, Andy, I did not buy it this year).
This Bailey guy ranked something like 28th of all the A's prospects, and we
know what a shallow talent poool they have. It appears that he's a
one-pitch pony. Besides, with Franky Francisco's shoulder in flames I am
not so sure the Bombers will so readily part with their "closers." After
all, when is a 25 point lead ever *that *safe?
