I used to rule the league

Make a trade even when I was fatigued

 

Nowadays I am in third alone

Stare at the standings I used to own

 

I used to churn young guys

Feel the loathing in Andy's eyes

 

Listen as my players bats would sing

Now the old 'Torns are dead, long live the 'Torns

 

One minute I had Grein-ke

Next I found I was number 3

 

Now I resort to bards

Because my team is a house of cards, house of cards

 

I hear Bombers championship bells ringing

Even Blocker's a poet singing

Keeping my Longoria in the case

No way I can make this a race

For some reason I can't explain, 

I know the Damon will bear Mark B's name

 

It was a wicked and wild wind

But first place I can't get back in

 

I could try for that spot on Top

But I think of Evan L and I just stop

 

Shattered team that scores no runs

Sherrill, Sonny, and a collection of bums

 

I see my champion season dying

But I swear I am really trying

 

I can't believe my team must succumb

Others can't believe what the 'Torns have become
