ARLINGTON -- The Rangers placed All-Star closer Neftali Feliz on the
15-day disabled list Saturday afternoon with right shoulder
inflammation, a move that general manager Jon Daniels labeled as a
cautious approach

TORONTO -- Infielder Jayson Nix was placed on the 15-day disabled list
Saturday with a left knee bruise.
The four-year veteran suffered the injury Friday night against the
Rays when he collided with Sean Rodriguez at second base while trying
to turn a double play. Rodriguez slid hard into the bag and made
contact with Nix's knee, buckling his left leg under him.


WINNERS: Berliners--picked up Feliz' replacement while rest of USML
asleep.   Riptorns.  Their bad karma began when K-9 got David Ortiz
for a $1, same price Rips paid for Shoppach, Cervelli, Rhymes and
