The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded second baseman Kelly Johnson to the Toronto Blue Jays for infielders Aaron Hill and John McDonald.


Johnson, 29, is hitting .209 with 18 home runs and 49 RBIs in 114 games this season.


Hill, 29, is batting .225 with six homers and 45 RBIs in 104 games, while McDonald is hitting .250 with two homers and 20 RBIs in 65 games.
