ITEM: CHICAGO -- White Sox right-hander Jake
Peavy<http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/_/id/5019/jake-peavy>now has a new
injury issue to deal with after he lasted just four innings
and 75 pitches of Sunday's start against the Detroit
Tigers<http://espn.go.com/mlb/team/_/name/det/detroit-tigers>.
Peavy was removed because of a strained right groin. He will be re-evaluated
Monday and there is no estimate on when he might be able to pitch again,
although he is expected to miss at least one start and probably more.

LOSER: Bombers blocked in efforts to peddle Peavy to pennant contender, must
now offer up likes of Outman to the K-9, as Bombers remain DOWN IN THE
DUMPS.

WINNER: Riptorns, as emerging ace Phil Humber solidifies rotation spot while
team NESTLES COMFORTABLY IN MEDIOCRITY.
