Guys, I appreciate your patience. I intend to do this alphabetically. Since
I can blow through the Angry Young Men's roster in a couple short bullet
points, I began work on the Berliners' reserve roster analysis. That's a
challenge because he has such a load of undervalued talent that I had to
order special software to even type the names of his players.

I will say this, however, and please note my comments are based on actually
watching games, not just reading stats: one name I will drop from the
Berliners' list --even the "maybe" category-- is Austin Inaction Jackson. I
know he's young, and may emerge in another three or so years, but for now
he's a defensive replacement/pinch runner specialist at best. Absolutely
ridiculous that Leyland let this guy lead off all year. I assume Leyland's
options were as bad as Ozzie's, but enough already. Low BA, mediocre OBP,
and strikes out almost at the rate of an Adam Dunn. Now, if I had to pick
between Jackson and Matusz, that may be another story. And that's why you
just have to stay tuned for my next installment.
