[USML Announce] Reserve Rosters Hot Sheet: Can Bargain BasementBombers Bash Berliners?

Wow, this was already a great sports weekend for me (Packers over Bears
live at the Spaceship, Blocker over Klein in FFL), but now to have Brad
anoint my team as "in competition" in USML is really over the top. And
Brad, this time it looks like you actually looked through my roster
before assessing my team (I will cut you some slack on forgetting Oritz
($1), Kipnis, and Cobb), which is truly a rarity!

Thank you, sir, for your kind comments.

Subject: [USML Announce] Reserve Rosters Hot Sheet: Can Bargain
BasementBombers Bash Berliners?

The season's first snow is predicted to fall this Thursday....Shandler's
annual forecaster is in the mail....and Winick already is wheezing about
his great team....so it's time to get serious and start taking in-depth
looks at what teams will be doing when it comes to managing their
reserve rosters.....in seasons past there was little to talk about when
it came to the Bombers, but this year is an exception. The BBs will take
aim at the Berliners with a low-cost high-value reserve roster that
automatically puts this team in competition when 2013 rolls around.

To wit:

  Trumbo-11

  De Aza- 7

  Reddick- 4

  Saunders-2

  Avila-7

  G. Holland-5

  Quintana-5

  Romero-11

.....and the BBs will take their pick amongst the likes of Hammel,
Lewis and sentimental favorite Sogard

Bottom Line: Low-priced, low average run prodcuction, a cheap closer and
a chip on the shoulder. All this spells trouble for the Berliners if
they seriously think they can challenge for the 2013 Damon.
