Oddly, no one has inquired about the Riptorns' likely reserve list, perhaps
because of the team's daily trades.

Nevertheless, the Rips are quietly laying the foundation for their Mansion
of Mayhem, built upon these Cornerstones of Quality:

   Mike Moustakas - 5
   Justin Smoak - 2 (you know his contract gets extended)
   Tank Viciedo- 1
   Pistol Pete Bourjos - 11
   Desmond Jennings- 10
   B.J. Upton - 29 (think he goes cheaper? don't bet your ellsbury. speed
kills, baby)
   Mike Carp - 5 (who needs Prince or Pujols with this fish in the net, who
by the way qualifies at OF or 1B)
   Saltalamacchia -2 (count on one middle finger how many AL backstops
belted more taters last year)
   Nathan -1 (Rips traded several closers; they kept the best value)

How best to describe this team: pretty young, very restless.
