I'm not sure who the "my" is. I think you mean dealing with Winick would not be good for the future prospects of Winick's trading partners. If that's what you're saying, I absolutely agree. I think history bears me out on that.

Sure do. Allow me to summarize:

Don't deal with Winick even if some of his prospects are on the verge of the majors. It wouldn't be good for my chances of victory.

Did I get that right?

Realistically, the $10 guys are all of marginal value, given that most prospect burn at least a year of their contracts before they are worth anything, and quite a few will never be even be useful major leaguers. There's the occasional Mike Trout, but there are a lot more Justin Smoaks. So I would conclude that there's a VERY small number of potentially useful guys scattered widely across the league (the $5 and under ones). At the same time, however, history suggests there will be suckers who will give real value for some of those $10 spins at the wheel, so the Berliners will likely leave a few cars stripped and sitting on cinder blocks around the USML neighborhood.

It's out. And it's not particularly kind to the self-proclaimed King
f Prospects, our very own Brad Lee Badfinger. Here you go:
1. Jurisckson Profar - Lake Michigan Calamari $5
. Dylan Bundy - Riptorns $5 (But his contract is running)
. Manny Machado - Berliners $10
. Wil Myers - Berliners $10
. Travis D'Arnaud - Brats $2 (But out for the season with a knee
njury)
. Taijuan Walker - Berliners $10
-10 NL Players
1. Francisco Lindor - Berliners $10
2. NL
3. Bubba Starling - Block's Bombers $19
4. NL
5. Nick Castellanos - Klein Nine!! $5
6-17 NL Players
8. Byron Buxton - Berliners $5
9. NL
0. Carlos Correa - Hoosier Daddies $2
So....what do we conclude?
1. Berliners with 5 of the top 10 (and 4 of the top 7) AL prospects.
. Riptorns with onely 1 top 11 prospect and he has a running contract.
. Calamari with the #1 overall prospect.
. Brats, Bombers, Daddies and Klein Nine (?!?!?!) with one top
rospect apiece.
That is all.
Jeff
