Keep up the puffing gentlemen, and you'll surely knock Hughes off of Mark B's "must have" list!

Dennis,

Excellent news. Bid Mr. B up.

I agree, by the way, with your assessment. Hughes came into camp last year fat and out of shape and it impacted his performance all year long. He’s still got a great arm.

I appreciate that insight. I should probably return the favor by letting you all know about my relentless optimism that Hughes will eventually find his form.

Dennis,

Just so you know, when Mark says "this guy won't be on my roster," that means he wants him badly.

I don’t see Phil Hughes being on the Bombers roster ever again. Nice try, Andy. It’s an application of the same rule that forbids Javier Vazquez from being on the Red Hots.

Thank you, Dennis, for acknowledging Alfredo Aceves' rightful place in the Boston rotation.

And thank you also for guaranteeing that Blocker will waste at least $8 on Phil Hughes this year. Feel free to start the bidding at that amount. I can promise that Mark will top you.

For the non RotoLab users, I've been working on a little something of my own. Here is an active/workable chart of everyone's keepers with costs, draft money available, etc. so you can follow along during the draft if you so choose. It also has a tab called "Depth Chart" which is really just starting rosters for every AL squad, according to today's depth charts, as well as tabs for some of the best available hitters and pitchers and the estimated cost according to Mr. Winick's publication. You just have to determine if you trust the new guy.

Cheers,

Dennis

Rich, will you be emailing the rotation draft sheet as you have so capably done the last several years?
