Apparently I missed the announcement - do spring training stats now
count?

Subject: [USML Announce] Berliners' Austin Powers The Whiff Machine

ITEM
Austin Jackson went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and a walk Monday
against the Phillies. Jackson is working with a new stance in an effort
to cut back on the strikeouts, but it hasn't helped thus far. He's
batting .242 with 14 strikeouts in 33 at-bats. The Tigers aren't about
to move away from him in center field, but they should consider
dropping him to the ninth spot in the lineup if he struggles next
month.

LOSER
Berliners. Decision to extend Action Jackson's contract looks worse
after every ST punchout. He can't steal first and Berliners desperately
needs the SBs to have any shot to compete this year. Berliners' chances
to take home the Damon ARE DIMMING.

WINNERS
Red Hots sense Berliners' vulnerability and begin process of packaging
Suzuki in season's first dump deal. Hosmer the Red Hot sounds just
about right.
Flaming Brats hope that Miguel Cabrera's on-base skills convince
Leyland to bat him lead-off, promising even more tallies in the runs
department. He just needs to keep balls from his face as he waltzes
around the hot corner.  But for now, the hopes of the Brats and Red
Hots SHINE BRIGHTLY.
