Buying. Velo is back, secondary has never been better, reports even from
outside Baltimore look good.

*WINNER*

Riptorns outdid even themselves by buying out Matusz's contract and
repurchasing him at one dollar.  Along with Balfour's coronation as closer,
the Riptorns' pitching fortunes *ARE LOOKING GOOD*.

*LOSER*

Berliners had opportunity to build pitching staff around this ace, but gave
up too early, leaving them Feiz's shoulder to cry on as this pitching
staff's  *LUSTER DIMS. *
