[USML Announce] Rips Gone With The Lind

Adam Lind's continued disappointment at the plate resulted in his demotion
to Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday, a move that brings with it a potential
celebratory moment for a South American country. Yan Gomes, 24, was
promoted from Las Vegas to take Lind's place, and he will become the first
player born in Brazil to appear in a Major League game if he sees game
action. Lind, 28, is in the third season of a four-year, $18 million deal.
The Blue Jays also have club options for 2014-16.
