The Los Angeles Angels<http://espn.go.com/mlb/team/_/name/laa/los-angeles-angels> placed ace Jered Weaver<http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/_/id/6479/jered-weaver> on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured elbow on his non-throwing arm, the team announced Tuesday.

The Angels said he is expected to miss at least four weeks with the injury, which the team termed a left non-displaced radial head fracture. The disabled-list move is retroactive to April 8.

LOSER

AFV. Loss of pitching ace with no suitable replacement SENDS TEAM BACK TO SQUARE ONE.

WINNER

K-9. With Weaver's demise the K-9 no longer sport USML's worst pitching staff, giving frail owner SOMETHING TO BARK ABOUT.
