There was NO way that self-absorbed, selfish defense was ever going to win anything important this year. Mr. B was anticipating that the Greenies would shut down Gore and win the game. Really? I kept thinking about that all game long and couldn't stop laughing. Gore ran for 119 yards. A respectable performance for the lead back in a running attack. But he wasn't the lead back in the SF running attack tonight. Colin Kaepernick broke an all time NFL record and ran for 181. 323 total rushing yards! Better yet, the Pack gave up 586 yards of total offense to the 49ers! The 11th best offense in the NFL. They averaged only 361 during the regular season against a bunch of slug defenses. Heck, they only had 323 yards of total offense against the Bears. When the going gets tough.....this pathetic defense disappears. I guess it makes a difference when a team actually has a real quarterback lining up behind the center.

So...what does it all mean? It means that both the Bears and the Packers will be watching at home next week. Of course one team ended its season with a win and that same team will be getting a better draft pick.

That is all (from me and the Pathetic Packers).
