My money's on Walden. Is he still an Angel?

So I wimped out on the original bug thing, let me mull this double or nuthin' deal. I'm much more confident about Ernesto
than I am about the Angels being crowned in October (or is it November now?). I'll immediately downgrade the Angels' chances
if they were to supplant a talent like Ernesto with a 32 year old TJ survivor who's only closed one year to my knowledge. BTW,
Andy's bible (can we agree that this is TSN Fantasy Mag's new title?) was aware of Madson's signing when they went to press
and advised "don't invest too heavily in Madson". We shall see.

"Another" bug? I'm still waiting for you to eat the first one.

But I'll go you double or nothing on the bug. Not only will Frieri not be closing, but he won't be playing on the World Series champs. You win, if I'm wrong about either.

And by the way, Ryan Madson (the Angels closer) wasn't signed until November 27th, which is almost certainly after Andy's bible went to print. The real quality magazines wait until closer to the end of the year before they require submissions by their authors. Those (considerably higher quality) magazines, will be coming out shortly. I expect they'll have a different take on Mr. Frieri's projected stats for 2013.

Alright, Brad Lee, I'm wise to your clever disinformation campaign, but I'm still keeping my man Joaquin. He'll be worth
at least $6, closing or not. I'll freely admit Soria's not going to be worth anywhere near $12, so have at him. But Frieri?
Guess who Andy's bible (TSN Fantasy Mag) projects as the most valuable AL closer? That's right, they list Ernesto above
Nathan! If Frieri is not closing for this year's World Series champs, I'll eat another bug! Counting the days until 3/17,
   Rick

ITEM:
Tigers steward Jim Leyland confirms Bruce Rondon will be Tigers' closer because Joqauin Benoit cannot pitch back-to-back days.

LOSER:
Hoosier Daddies. Lukewarm off-season trade interest in Benoit ($6) just got colder with Leyland proclamation. For bitter Daddies, it's now Lavarnway or the highway as trade prospects dwindle.

WINNER:
Riptorns. Team's subtle marketing of wunderkind Addison Reed ($15) draws significant interest as teams tire of Daddies' overzealous efforts to peddle set-up men (Benoit), former closers (Soria) and soon-to-be former closers (Frieri).
