I couldn't help myself and had to take a quick look.  I compared Parker and Fister assuming that you would have made up any difference there.  Well.....let's just say that things were even worse than I thought.    Hey at least after considering everything you picked up an extra win to compensate for the 21 fewer strikeouts , considerably worse ERA and lousy ratio.  And Wieters has hit 4 more home runs that Flowers, so it wasn't a total loss.  ;-)

But for consolation, here's Valverde's stats for my team:

6.7 innings, 9.45 ERA and 1.96 WHIP.

And Sabathia has a 3.99 ERA to go with his mere 112 K's over 133 innings pitched.

He's an evil genius I tell you.   Right up there with Brad Lee.

Amen Jeff.  I don't want to go back and see how my stats would have differed had I not traded for Verlander and the also disappointing Weiters.  Ugh.

The absence will mark Carter's third consecutive, a span in which he fit in just one unsuccessful pinch-hit appearance. However, he participated in batting practice Tuesday, and the ailment shouldn't keep him out of commission for too much longer.

The 26-year-old is considered expendable as the Astros continue their rebuilding efforts. The Yankees need a right-handed hitter who can play first and outfield, which makes them one potential destination leading into the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.

Hey - maybe he'll go to the Yankees.  But you've got to give Kerber credit for getting ahead of this.
