Professor...er....Dean Klein,

Dayan "On the Warning Track" Viciedo and Lonnie "Not Smith" Chisenhall were bums when you traded for them ("Moishe" had only 4 home runs when you took him on and Chisenhall was already looking like the bust that he's turned out to be). I get the fact that you'd be wary of dealing with Brad Lee again after he sold you this bucket of bolts, including one on a guaranteed contract, but that doesn't justify taking a shot at Mike "Eat Your" Olt "Meal. He got beaned and has been dealing with eyesight problems. Since that has cleared up, he's gone back to looking like a pretty nice prospect. And Edwards is merely one of the top pitching prospects in A ball. I would have thought with your new found fixation on pitching beans that you'd be pretty excited about him, no?

And, though you should talk to Brad Lee for the final word about proper protocol for Berman-izing players, you simply can't add the full name of a hall of famer in the middle of a player's name. You're allowed to add either the first or last name in situations that warrant the comparison or the derision. Your feeble efforts are sanctionable.

Oh - and you failed to mention Willie "May's' Myers (proper protocol, fyi) fast start in Tampa. Do you really think he's going to be a bust?

That is all.

Jeff

True on the Klein-related news. But, listen, Brad Lee had already stocked my offensive roster with Dayan "Hank Aaron" Vicieo and Lonnie "Mike Schmidt" Chisenhall ...

And as a Cub fan, I wish Theo well with Mike "Miguel Cabrera" Olt. I see that he has broken the Mendoza Line line in AAA, which must count for something ...

Mark Blocker's long lost brother Eric Karabell just completed a piece on the disappointments that CC Sabathia and Justin Verlander have been this season. Damn you, Mark Kerber!!

In further, Mark Blocker related news, another ESPN writer, Jerry Crasnick, explains why Greg Holland is the most dominant closer in baseball:

In non Mark Blocker related news, I was informed by Brad Lee that he did, in fact, seek out Dean Klein during his efforts to prematurely bail on young Wil Myers and that the Professor proclaimed that he much preferred two pitchers to Willie "Mays" Myers. What is the world coming to? Andy "Mr. $1 Pitcher" Klein more interested in pitchers (including a bean!!!) than in a stud hitter. Say it aint so!!

That is all.
