I think we are saying the same thing but maybe I worded it poorly.

A player acquired via FAAB bidding tonight may not be traded until the reporting period starting on August 4.  Right?

I've always assumed that a player acquired via FAAB bidding cannot be traded until the subsequent reporting period.  So, for example, its my understanding that the team acquiring Garza tonight may not trade him during the current reporting period.  Is that correct?
