Greetings;

1. The traditional 08:00 start is good.
2. Saturday would be good.
3. Friday 15th.
4. Rich?
5. White Castles?
6. What Brad said. How about a Luddite draft - no electronics, only guile & hard-won knowledge?

1. OK by me.
2. Can we make it noon SAT instead? I have commitments FR night as I am sure do others with more social skills than Winick.
3. OK by me.
4. Have you heard of mlb.com ?? Don't all those expensive software packages you guys buy include that stuff? I for one do it the old-fashioned way: print hard copies.
5. How about some healthy protein for a change? Can't someone in your office scare us up some omelettes?
6. Oh for crissakes. I renew my motion to ban all laptops.

Sunday, March 17th - DRAFT DAY!!

A couple of questions for our commissioner/league membership:

1. What time are we starting? I'd prefer 8:00 a.m., but I've only got to get downtown from Wrigleyville. Cheapest parking is at 210 North Wells (enter from lower Wacker) - $11 and 2 blocks from the office.
2. What day are reserve rosters due? I'd prefer this Friday at 10:00 p.m. so that I've got this weekend to work on the draft, but I understand that some might want to use this weekend to finalize their rosters.
3. What day is the dump a dog deadline? I'd recommend the following Friday, the 15th since Spring Training still has many potential surprises for each of us. That would give us a day to rejigger draft lists.
4. Is anyone pulling together a non-rookie eligible NRI list? How about a list of the 40 man rosters? Given how early we're drafting, those are sure to be interesting lists of players.
5. Who is bringing the donuts? Last I recall, Jim had designated Brad and Dennis had kindly offered. I've got the coffee, tea and diet soda covered.
6. Can someone please bring a power strip. With all the computers, I'm guessing we'll need one.

That's all I can think of, other than the fact, that the Berliners are still holding more keepers than they can retain and are still interested in 2 or 3 for 1 trades. You know where to find me.

Let the games begin!!
