Here's the news:

Moustakas has been scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to a foot injury, Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star reports.



Were this a Berliner player, the conclusion would be dire and you'd have heard about it already from Brad Lee.  Something along the lines of:  "His season is over, dump him now while you still can."


But Mr. Moustakas is a RipTorn meaning that you'll get honest reporting from yours truly. No need to fear - the foot injury won't be a problem.  Of course, the fact that he really can't hit - well that might be a problem.  Here's the Rotowire assessment:


Fantasy Analysis
Moustakas suffered the injury after fouling a ball off his foot. The injury does not appears to be anything more than a minor ding, as it's likely that the team is sitting their young third baseman as a precaution.
