[USML Announce] RotoLab Question

Mark,

I’ve been waiting almost 20 years for you to ask that question.

As a general rule, if your first instinct is to buy the player, that’s a pretty good sign that he won’t be a good one.

There is, of course, no setting that can provide you with additional warning. But just as I have been there for Skippy, I can also be available for you. If you’d like, you can sit near me at the draft and I’ll be happy to provide ongoing direction. We can come up with a code if you find it to be a little embarrassing.

Your friend,

Jeff

Jeff: In the software I am using, can you tell me how to configure it so that I know which players will not be good ones for me to buy? Is there a setting or something? Thanks.

Actually I think there is a tool that will identify anticipated Wins Above Replacement. But last time I checked that didn't really translate well into fantasy points.

No worries, Rich. You've got this thing wrapped up.

As my son Sam says, Chillax.

C'mon guys. Figure this stuff out on your own. This is WAR!

There are help files and the like. The tool is super configurable.

Another Rotolab question...

Jeff- How do you see these separate values you mentioned in an earlier email? The only prices I see are the inflated ones. Guess I'll just be overpaying for a lot of people!

Thanks. After dragging them to the reserve roster, who do I prevent the salaries from counting against the draft total?

You need to click the Rookies tab just above the players on the right hand side of the draft screen.

Players are automatically added to the active roster so you have to drag them to the reserve roster.

And to all of you using Rotolab this year, Ron Shandler asked me to tell you that he's never been more confident about dollar values. Bid with supreme confidence all the way (and beyond) the indicated values. They're (essentially) guaranteed.

In the RotoLab software, how do I get access to the minor leaguers (they don't show up when I "find player" in draft mode), and how do I assign players to the reserve roster?
