The following is based on both active and reserve rosters and is a far
better analysis than whatever Winick will send, whenever he sends it--now
that I think about it, I don't think Jeffrey has yet to send his "Pippen"
from last year....

*AFV: *Strong offense will get even bigger boost if Martin and Dyson garner
any ABs. Pitching staff is where there's trouble. Combustible starting
staff and no closer means this squad *FACES STEEP CLIMB.*

*AYM*: Team always competes, but will need pitching help and productive
Smoak or else walk a* LONG AND WINDING ROAD.*

*BBs:* Can Moss and Bonificacio earn their salaries? If they do--big if--
and starting pitching comes through, this team *MEANS TROUBLE*.

*FBs: *Miggy and Cespedes must carry offensive load, but squad light on
SBs. Decent pitching staff means this team *HAS ROOM TO MOVE*.

*HD: *Team is solid and *READY TO CLIMB.*

*K9: *Spiffy offense, ok pitching, *ENOUGH TO HANG UNTIL AUGUST.*

*LMC: *Past-prime Pujols heads fair offense, but deep pitching means* TEAM
WILL HAUL ASS ALL SEASON. *

*MRH: *Must neutralize competition via savvy defensive trades, but for now *ON
TOP OF THE HEAP.*
*
NUKES: *Kerbs is the Eric Cantor of this 2013 session of the USML, whose
moves could decide who wins Damon *AND AT WHAT PRICE.*

*RIPTORNS: *Offense to rock your world, but without another SP or sure fire
closer, team *WILL BE OUT OF IT BY APRIL 1.*

*WIB:* As we say in Texas, all hat no cattle... until team adds Verlander
and a thumper.
