The race for the final spot in the Indians' starting rotation has been
narrowed to two candidates.

The club optioned right-handers Trevor Bauer and Corey Kluber to Triple-A
Columbus on Thursday, leaving southpaw Scott Kazmir and righty Carlos
Carrasco as the remaining competitors for the fifth rotation slot, behind
Justin Masterson, Ubaldo Jimenez, Brett Myers and Zach McAllister.

*LOSER*

AFV. Drafting Bauer and Pineda, retaining Hultzen, means that the AFV, like
soulmate Riptorns, are *WARMING UP FOR 14.*

*WINNER *

Flaming Brats. Given Rips' misfortunes with starting pitchers, it's obvious
that Scott Kazmir --not Carrasco-- gets the nod, adding to an already
formidable pitching staff as *BRATS ARE GOING FOR THE BUN.*
