The Nukes, Berliners and Red Hots announce the following trades:

Nukes/Berliners:

Nukes to Berliners:  Billy Butler*, Coco Crisp, CC Sabathia* and Jared Burton
Berliners to Nukes:  Eric Hosmer,David Murphy*, Chris Tillman, Andrew Bailey


Nukes/Red Hots:

Nukes to Red Hots:  Matt Wieters, Justin Verlander*, Doug Fister and Darren Oliver
Red Hots to Nukes:  Tyler Flowers, Yu Darvish, Jarrod Parker and Sean Rodriguez


These trades are being treated as permitted unbalanced trades, per league rules, for purposes of this announcement.  However, for what it's worth, I think it is arguable that the rule does not apply to pre-season trades, because the rule expressly applies only during "the season" which is generally used in the rules to refer to the MLB regular season.
