[USML Announce] A Question For the League Historians

I will be sending out my Pippin’s Nothing But A Dog projections next week.

As for the Four Leaf Clovers, once it was clear to me that even with extraordinary good luck Mark could rarely overcome the handicap associated with his “challenges” when it came to pulling the trigger on a trade, I dropped the moniker and moved on to others. But I do feel inspired to come up with something new.

And in my (not so) humble opinion, Go For Three will never be topped.

Pippin lives forever. I thought the reference appropriate in recognition of Pippin's part in league history.

As for Brad, I just re-read Go For Three. Has that one been topped?

This looks great. Thanks, Rich. The reference to Pippin (RIP) and the absence of Brad (MIA) means that we probably need some projections. Semi-relatedly, the K9 could use some starting pitchers, and is open to any and all offers!

The test site looks sleek and cool. I may have some more detailed comments tomorrow, but this is a massive improvement over what we had.

I think it's pretty darn cool, actually. Thanks, Rich. I believe the Four Leaf Clovers era must have ended before I joined the league.

As I've gone about redeploying the usml.net<http://usml.net> web site I've had the unmitigated joy of perusing the league lore preserved on the current site.

Here's a question for you.

When did people stop referencing the Blocker Franchise as the Four Leaf Clovers?

(Oh, and please take a look at the test site, http://test.usml.net and give me some feedback. Our current site has our Constitution as the landing page. I've replaced that with a portal to the OnRoto site. The idea is that the new site can become your one stop shop for league matters.)
