I don’t believe that Byron Buxton has ever been on active USML roster, so Dennis is allowed to carry him on the reserve roster and Buxton’s salary will not account against his auction budget.

If Kepler was activated last year, then he has to be on the active roster.

OnRoto has A-Rod for $2, so you are correct.

And not that I could pretend to be among any wise men in our league, but I took this passage to mean that I needed to add Max Kepler to the active roster. It seems the same would apply to his real-life teammate, right?

the first "season" of a player will not be deemed to occur until that player loses major league rookie status or that player appears on the Active Roster of a League team, provided, however, that if a player with major league rookie status who has appeared on the Active Roster of a League team is subsequently selected in the Rotation Draft, his prior appearance on the Active Roster of a League team shall be disregarded.

Commissioners and Other Wise Men,

1.      Confused on Buxton.  He still has rookie status, but was he activated by Dennis last year?  If so, doesn’t that mean he has to fill an active roster slot?  If not, why does his salary count?

2.      With A-Rod, the website shows him at $2, but Frank (and Mark’s roster list) has him at $1.  I think $2 is correct.

Hoping someone will send a “money check” once we clear these items up.  My abacus isn’t working so well!
