[USML Announce] New Web Site -- Concept Release

I've been fiddling around with some ideas for what a new version of the
usml.net web site might look like.  I'm implementing it using WordPress --
which is one of the most popular web site tools around.  It is the tool of
choice for blogs and many non-blog web sites too.  I've never used it
before but am happy with what I've come up with in a few days.  There are
thousands of WordPress themes that can be used.  I picked a simple (free)
one that I think looks reasonably good.

I've set up a server in the Amazon cloud for this test site.  We might end
up keeping the site there for the long haul or using a web site vendor.
Finding a cheap host for a WordPress site is really easy.

Take a look at http://test.usml.net and let me know what you think.

Please keep in mind that this is just a working concept.

One major change is that I have established the onroto site as the front
page of the usml.net web site.  I haven't tried to set it up to permit
owners to log in and make transactions, but hope to achieve that at some
point.  I'd like your views on whether it would be better to provide a full
portal to onroto from this site or if you'd prefer snippets, like, just the
standings, for example.

When I get around to redoing the part of the site with old standings etc, I
will use current blogging tools that will make it much easier to update
(and categorize) content.

I expect to move the announce mailing list to a new host.  Vendors that I
am talking to tell me that they should be able to migrate all announce list
archives into a single archive running under the new host.  That would be
nice.
