[USML Announce] 11 Years Ago Today....

Since we're in the off-season and can now propose and adopt new rules, I propose the following:

Bragging Rights.

A.    For purposes of USML bragging rights, league championships shall be recognized in decreasing priority, according to recency (e.g., a 2016 championship ranks higher than a 2015 championship).  Finishes other than league championships shall confer no bragging rights.  For purposes of scorn, shame, disrespect or abuse, all placings other than league championships may be relied upon, depending on the circumstances, as deemed appropriate by the Committee of the Whole.
B.    For purposes of Major League Baseball bragging rights, World Series championships shall rank higher than League championships, which in turn shall rank higher than division championships.  Championships of equal rank shall be recognized in in decreasing priority, according to recency (e.g., a 2016 championship ranks higher than a 2015 championship).  Notwithstanding the prior two sentences, no championship older than ten years shall confer bragging rights of any kind.
