[USML Announce] Nathan Eovaldi?

I was there this afternoon.  7 bases on balls, 3 WPs.  (And 5 stolen bases.)  However, he was also almost unhittable when he managed to keep it in the zip code.  Nobody had any idea where the ball was going.

My hunch is that he was never demoted. If he is pitching in the minors, it is because he is on a rehab assignment as he attempts to return from a stint on the MLB disabled list. This article seems to confirm that:

Onroto also lists his MLB status as "on diasbled list" which would make him a major leaguer.

I hate to question a move by an esteemed franchise like the Nukes, but was  Nathan Eovaldi eligible for a FAAB purchase?  He's pitching in the minors now.  Our rules state:   "A minor league player will not join the pool of free agents until he is promoted to an active American League major league roster and may not be acquired as a free agent prior to such promotion."
